In a fry pan or on a hot grill fry your bratwurst until golden and crispy on the outside. Remember this sausage is already cooked so we are just looking to get it hot through the middle.
Warm the buns and cut a cavity down the middle length ways and fill with the bratwurst.
We like to load up our Brats but you can have as many or as little accompaniments on top as you like. As suggested, cheese melted over the bratwurst is delicious, chutneys, mustards, pickles and sauerkraut are all close mates with our Brats.
